fashion photoshoot

A tunic doesn’t have to be just a see-through garment to wear to the beach, and to prove that Miss Tunica has created a collection of slipdresses to wear underneath the garments which matches the current beachwear collection perfectly.

We recently set up a photoshoot with Swedish model Daga Lamy, who can now be spotted in various places on the Miss Tunica website, looking absolutely gorgeous in our vibrant tunics and matching slipdresses.

behind the scenes

The photoshoot, which took place in photographer Mats Lefvert’s central Stockholm studio, was a fun day to say the least. It started with a few shots of the actual slipdresses on their own, whilst Daga got glammed up by the talented celebrity makeup artist Jessica Wahlgren – who has got some serious skills with her brushes, palettes and styling tools.

celebrity makeup artist

Once Daga entered the spotlight the day just flew by. She modelled outfit after outfit, and she rocked them all! We were all really astonished by how much of a professional she actually is, and how posing in front of a camera could look so natural. Girl crush deluxe!

However, there’s no beach vibe without a bit of an artificial ocean breeze… Bring on the effectful fan, and just like that we got ourselves a bit of a windswept beach hair look! We guess makeup artist Jessica got a bit more than she signed up for being “Daga’s biggest fan” - literally! But based on all the giggles throughout the day she seemed to enjoy herself.

It’s all about experiencing both the highs and lows when you’re running your own fashion business, and Miss Tunica’s CEO showed us that she’s more than happy to get down and dirty when it comes to it. Being Daga’s outfit stylist, shoe swapper, photo picker, palm leaf waver, and everything in between... All the respect to her!

The photos of Daga strutting her stuff in Miss Tunica’s range of colourful slipdresses can now be found on the website – why not check them out straight away?
